King and queen of Netherlands coming to Albany
The king and queen of the Netherlands will be in Albany this week, as part of an official visit to the United States.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are stopping in the Capital Region and New York City to highlight the ties between their country and ours.
Gov. Kathy Hochul will host the royals Wednesday, and she will take them on a tour of the nanotech complex next to UAlbany.
The king and queen are also set to sign a semiconductor research agreement between the Netherlands and New York state.
