A kitten in Lenox, Berkshire County, was seriously hurt by a pellet gun.
The kitten – named Blue – was found August 13, after missing for two days, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle reported. She had blood covering her face.
The pellet missed the major arteries and throat, a hospital taking care of Blue said. However, Blue is now being fed with a tube after losing her appetite and not wanting to drink water.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover Blue’s hospital bills.
Her caretakers are asking anyone who may know something about what happened to call Lenox Police.
