A new holiday event is coming to Warren County.

The village of Lake George on Tuesday announced Lights at the Lake.

The outdoor lights display at Charles R. Wood Park will feature winter scenes. It will transform Lake George’s lakeside into a wonderland of lights, joy, and cheer, the village said.

“This is a landmark event for us here in Lake George, and we’re proud to say that,” said Mayor Ray Perry. “These lights, although many people see Christmas lights in different ways, we see them as a welcoming beacon for the community and surrounding communities to come and be part of our community and be part of an annual tradition that started with Light Up the Village for the last 25 years.”

Lights at the Lake begins on Nov. 30, just a few days after Thanksgiving.
