One of the two new wintertime attractions in Lake George is opening to the public today.

Winter Realms opens this afternoon in the Charles R. Wood Park. It has ice skating, an ice sculpture garden and a polar pub. The opening coincides with Lake George’s big Light up the Village Holiday celebration Friday and Saturday.

The other attraction, Winter’s Dream, opens Friday, Dec. 8 on the property of the Fort William Henry.
