Latham woman accused of stealing over $50K from rental business 

State Police arrested a Latham woman for allegedly stealing more than $50,000 from a short-term rental business.  

Jessica Rowell, 49, was hired to manage multiple rental properties in Schenectady, according to police. She allegedly withheld rental income that belonged to the property owner from the summer of 2023 until spring of this year.   

Rowell was arrested on Oct. 5 and charged with second-degree grand larceny. She was sent to Schenectady County Jail pending arraignment.
