Latham woman sentenced to 15 years in prison following sexual exploitation case of child

Kristy Lynne Koldis, 46, of Latham was sentenced on Thursday to 15 years in prison and 15 years of supervised release for sexual exploitation of a child, according to the US Attorney’s Northern District of NY Office.

After pleading guilty, they say Koldis admitted that she created sexually explicit content of the child from when the child was 9 to 13-years-old, and distributed the content to another person whose sentencing is scheduled for December 12.

United States District Judge Mae A. D’Agostino imposed special assessments to Koldis totaling over $55,000 and ordered her to pay $5,000 in restitution.

They add Koldis will have to register as a sex offender upon her release from prison.
