Hudson Valley Community College hopes to select a search firm to find a new president by early September.

The college is looking for a new leader after it fired Roger Ramsammy amid a report of a sexual harassment claim against him.

13Investigates has learned that the college sent a request for proposals for search firms to help find the next president. They received 14 responses.

College leaders will review the applicants and make a selection.

It typically takes 10 months to find a new president.
