Nine to five is more than a work schedule, it was also a movie, starring Dolly Parton, Lilly Tomlin and Jane Fonda. What you may not know is that it was a real-live movement started by women.
Ellen Cassedy was part of the women’s movement in the 1970s that set out to change the workplace environment for women.
Cassedy says the movement grew to include more than just the dozen women who started it and in the end she says they won on a lot of issues.
