MA lawmakers push for rail expansion and safety
Senate lawmakers in Massachusetts have reached an agreement on a plan that would carve out hundreds of millions of dollars to expand and make rail services safer, statewide.

Senators have their version of an infrastructure bond bill — legislation that the house unanimously approved last month.
Both houses want a deal that would create a $400 million fund that could be tapped to address critical safety problems that were uncovered by a federal investigation.
