A Malta man is accused of attacking someone and obstructing their breathing.

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Justin Sherman on Friday.

Deputies say he used a weapon to injure someone and tried to strangle them.

He is now charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and obstruction of breathing.

Sherman is now in Saratoga County Jail.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
