Police identify victim of fatal Albany shooting

Albany Police investigating fatal shooting that resulted in the city's second homicide of the year.
Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Yates Street near South Lake Avenue around 1:40 a.m. for a report of an unresponsive man. They found a 21-year-old Quadair Hoffler, of Rensselaer, with a gunshot wound to his head.
Hoffler was treated on scene and taken to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
