Man accused of punching worker at Glens Falls pizza shop

A man is accused of assaulting an employee at a Glens Falls pizza shop.

It happened around 6:50 p.m. on Friday at Pizza Jerks.

Police said Keith M. Kilgallon, 50, was charged with assault of a retail worker and second-degree assault.

A co-worker, who was not present during the assault, described what he heard happened.

The customer, later identified as Kilgallon, was yelling and swearing at the girl at the counter because he was not getting his pizza in a timely fashion.

Kilgallon threw the tip jar at the manager and punched the victim in the face and left.

Police were able to track down the suspect. Kilgallon was held pending arraignment.
