Man charged in Malta motel stabbing

A Saratoga County man is facing charges in connection to a stabbing.

It happened Sunday night, at the Budget Inn, on Route 9, in Malta, said the sheriff’s office.

Alexander McFadden stabbed a person in the head and arm, said investigators.

The victim was treated on the scene and refused further medical attention.

McFadden was arraigned and sent to the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
