Schenectady Police: Man shot and killed during home invasion

Schenectady Police said Tuesday that the man killed in a shooting on Hamburg Street last week was shot by the resident of the home.
Marc Cunningham, 25, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
Cunningham fatally shot 28-year-old Yadram Singh at 1834 Hamburg St. last Thursday. Police said he was trying to break into the home.
Cunningham illegally possessed the gun, police said.
