Man found dead at Empire State Plaza

New York State Police say that they responded to a call of an unresponsive male at the Empire State Plaza.

Police say the call came Sunday morning at around 11:51 a.m. and they responded to the area of the Madison Avenue entrance to the plaza.

We’re told that when they arrived police determined that the man was dead.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing and police say there is no reason to believe there is any threat to the public.

The individual’s name will be released at a later date.
