Man found guilty of manslaughter in 2016 Schenectady shooting
A man has been convicted in the shooting death of a Schenectady man back in 2016.
Camare Williams was found guilty of first-degree manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in Schenectady County Court on Thursday. Williams was charged in the shooting death of Andre Lee in March 2016 on Germain Avenue.
Williams was acquitted of second-degree murder.
The case went unsolved for several years. A warrant was issued for Williams’ arrest and he was pulled over on Aug. 10, 2023 in Middletown.
