Man gets 7 years in prison for sexually assaulting child in Wilton

A former Saratoga County man was sentenced on Wednesday to 7 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child.

Timothy Perkins, 36, was arrested in June 2023 for the incident at a home in Wilton.

He pleaded guilty in April to first-degree criminal sex act.

Perkins, who now lives in Kentucky, also must serve 20 years of post-release supervision.
