Three-year-old confirmed dead in Manchester fire in Vermont.
Manchester Police confirmed on Monday that a 3-year-old child was the victim of Sunday’s deadly fire.
Fire broke out at a residence on Upper Road just before 11:45 a.m. The child was found dead at the scene. An autopsy will be conducted at the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington.
Two other people were critically injured in the fire, police said. Their names will be released after further investigation. The family tells NewsChannel 13 that a 3-year-old boy died and a 1-year-old is among those in the hospital.
The Vermont Division of Fire Safety is investigating the cause.
