Many people have side hustles to help with expenses

Many Americans are taking on a side hustle.

Apparently, many believe they’ll always need to have one to maintain their lifestyle, and make ends meet.
A new report from Bankrate finds nearly 40% of adults have one, in addition to their main job.
Side hustlers earn $810 per month on average.
About one-third primarily use the extra income to pay for living expenses, while 27% use it for discretionary spending, 25% for savings and 12% to pay off debt.
