A current inmate at Marcy Correctional Facility is taking legal action against the prison and four of its employees for alleged mistreatment.  

The inmate says he was woken up by corrections officers at 4 a.m., taken to the shower and assaulted by officers.  

The inmate claims that several officers punched him on the right side of his body. He alleges that one of the officers ordered lethal force, and that’s when he was picked up and slammed onto the floor.  

He says the assault left him with a broken arm. He was taken to Syracuse Medical for treatment.
