Mayfield stabbing victim passes away from his injuries

An update to the stabbing that happened Friday morning in Mayfield in Fulton County.

The victim, Steven Tryon, passed away overnight Saturday from his injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office says the charges against the two people arrested in connection with the incident will be increased after consultation with the District Attorney.

Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Stephen Dingman and Anastasia Lott this afternoon.

Deputies say Tryon was stabbed in the leg around 3:30 a.m. at a home on Sand Hill Road.

Dingman is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Lott is charged with tampering with evidence.
