A Mechanicville man will spend almost three decades in prison for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl.

Ryan Jewett, 32, was sentenced Wednesday in Saratoga County Court to 29 years in prison and 20 years of post-release supervision.

He also had multiple images documenting the abuse, and paid a 13-year-old child for sex.

The victim told Jewett that he took their innocence, but they will not let his crimes negatively impact their future.
