In Mechanicville, dozens of families came together to celebrate the 47th annual ‘Family Fun Day.’

The all-day event featured rides, raffles, carnival snacks, vendors, live music, and more.

Local police departments also brought in a drug-kit and materials to demonstrate field sobriety tests for kids, with support from the Mechanicville Stillwater Elks Lodge.

One of the longtime organizers of the event says the support from the surrounding community makes the event happen.
