Memorial services for triple homicide victim set

Memorial services for victim of triple homicide will be held on Thursday.

NewsChannel 13 is still working to learn when the Washington County man accused of killing three members of his family will be sent to Vermont to face charges. 

As NewsChannel 13 reported on Friday, Brian Crossman Jr. is charged with three counts of aggravated murder in the fatal shooting of his father, Brian Crossman Sr., his stepmother, Erica Crossman, and his 13-year-old stepbrother, Colin Taft.

The crimes happened early in the morning on Sunday, September 15 at the family’s home in Pawlet, according to Vermont State Police.

Crossman Jr. was admitted to the behavioral health unit of Glens Falls Hospital that day. He was picked up by New York State Police Friday afternoon and is being held in the Warren County Jail.

Meanwhile, a memorial service for Brian Crossman Sr. will be held on Friday, Sept. 27 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will at Ducharme Funeral Home in Castleton.
