The Bethlehem Chabad hosted a menorah lighting Wednesday evening to commemorate the first night of Hanukkah.

Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish holiday celebrating the resurrection of the holy temple in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean revolt in the second century BCE.

The celebration was considered a way to help bring the entire community together in a friendly way.
