Mets fans travel to New York City for Game 3
Mets fans got on a Yankee Trails bus to head down to Citi Field for Game 3 of the National League Division series against the Philles.
Fifty-five Mets fans boarded a Yankee Trails bus Tuesday to get to New York City for Game 3 of the National League Division Series.
The Mets are tied one game apiece with the Philadelphia Phillies. The best-of-five series shifts to Citi Field for Game 3.
Yankee Trails President Stephen Tobin said it is a great way to see the game.
“Well, everything we do is conscious of people’s budgets, right? Tough economy. But when you put 55 people on a bus, it drives the cost down and it is an affordable way to travel,” he said.
The fans will head back home before the last pitch. Yankee Trails has upcoming trips to various stadiums and arenas.
