Milton woman arrested for grand larceny

Amy M. Schweiger, 48, of Milton was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office for grand larceny and petit larceny on July 24.
The Sheriff’s Office says she is accused of stealing a bag belonging to another person that had a credit card, among other items inside at the McDonald’s at 201 Church Avenue in Ballston on July 23.
After investigation, Schweiger was charged with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny and one count of petit larceny, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Schweiger was released on appearance tickets returnable to Ballston Town Court at a later date.
