National basketball phenom Caitlin Clark arrives in Albany with Iowa; LSU and Colorado touch down
It was a busy evening at Million Air terminal at the Albany International Airport.
Iowa basketball phenom Caitlin Clark has touched down at Albany International Airport.
Four teams arrived at the Million Air terminal Thursday evening, including reigning NCAA champions LSU in addition to Colorado and Iowa, all arriving within minutes of each other.
Just a handful of lucky fans were there looking for photos with the players and coaches.
Record crowds have followed Clark everywhere she has gone. The same will be true this weekend as Clark and the Hawkeyes play in the regional at MVP Arena here in Albany.
The big Sweet 16 game is Saturday.
Clark broke the all-time scoring record for men’s and women’s college basketball this season.
