NBC is moving ‘Days of Our Lives’ to Peacock on Sept. 12

There are some big changes coming to daytime TV on NewsChannel 13.

NBC is moving “Days of Our Lives” to the streaming service Peacock beginning Sept. 12. The long-running daytime drama debuted on NBC in 1965.

Peacock will have a special limited-time subscription offer through the month of September. New Peacock Premium customers will be able to sign up for $1.99 per month or $19.99 for one year.  That’s compared with the regular Peacock Premium pricing of $4.99 per month with ads or $9.99 per month with no ads.

Some Spectrum customers are eligible for a Peacock Premium subscription at no extra cost for a limited time.

NBC set up a toll-free phone number for “Days” fans who have questions about the switch to Peacock. You can call the Days Customer Care line at 855-597-1827.

While “Days” continues on Peacock, NBC is launching “NBC News Daily.” This news program will air weekdays at 1 p.m. on NewsChannel 13 starting Sept. 12. NBC News’ award-winning team of journalists — including Kate Snow, Aaron Gilchrist, Vicky Nguyen and Morgan Radford — will anchor the hour-long newscast.

Leading into “NBC News Daily” will be “NewsChannel 13 Live at Noon,” which expands to a full hour starting at 12 p.m. The game show “25 Words or Less” will move to WNYA My4, where it will continue to air at 12:30 p.m. These changes will also begin on Sept. 12.
