Necropsy being performed on pit bull set on fire in Albany

A necropsy is being performed to find out if a pit bull set on fire in Albany was dead before or after the fire.

Shocking Ring doorbell camera video shows the owner allegedly dragging the dog in a crate across a church parking lot.

The crate is on fire minutes later, while the owner walks away.

Christopher Maxwell from the Bronx is now facing animal cruelty charges.

The medical testing will also detail the extent of the injuries of the pit bull, police said.
