New president starts job at SUNY Empire State

SUNY Empire State has a new president.

Lisa Vollendorf is the sixth president in the school’s history.

Vollendorf comes to Empire State from the University of Northern Colorado where she was serving as interim provost and chief academic officer.

Prior to that, she spent 16 years in California’s state university system serving in various faculty and administration roles.
