New scholarship honors victim of 2018 Schoharie limo crash
A place that helps people who have disabilities has created a scholarship to honor one of the victims of the 2018 Schoharie limo crash.
Amanda Rivenburg worked with Living Resources for more than seven years. She had most recently been Assistant Director of the Day Community Opportunities Program there.
Now the facility has created the Amanda Rivenburg Memorial Scholarship Fund. It will award scholarships to staff members at Living Resources who are pursing college degrees.
The scholarship will be $500 for an associate’s degree, $1,000 for a bachelor’s degree, and $2,500 for a mMaster’s degree.
