New Siena College president takes office

Dr. Charles Seifert formally took office on Thursday as Siena College’s 13th president.
He has worked at the school for nearly 27 years, and was unanimously approved by the board in December.
An inaugural ceremony will take place in September.
He is replacing Chris Gibson, who announced he is stepping down in September.
Gibson served a three-year tenure.
