There’s a new feat for thrill seekers to conquer at Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury.
The park is introducing the Bobcat roller coaster.
This is the first new roller coaster unveiled there since 2003. The Bobcat is replacing the Alpine Bobsled, which was retired last September.
The first 1,500 people that ride on Saturday and Sunday will get a special Bobcat souvenir.
The park will start the season by being open on weekends only. Daily operations start on June 19.
Take a preview ride on the coaster with NewsChannel 13 First Warning Meteorologist Christina Talamo and anchor/reporter Caitlin Irla by watching the video.
