New Troy ‘refillery’ working hard to reduce waste

TROY – A new store has a unique and environmentally-conscious mission.
The shop is called Matt’s Refillery. It’s located on River Street in Troy. They call themselves a refill store with a mission to help people reduce their single use plastics.
At the refillery, you bring in your own bottles and jars to fill up with home and personal care products such as laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner.
Owner Matthew Converse has lived in Troy for many years and is excited to become part of the downtown Troy community.
The store is currently open Tuesday through Friday 10 to 6, Saturday 9 to 6 and extended hours during downtown Troy events.
