New York AG Letitia James vows to protect abortion rights

New York Attorney General Letitia James is reacting to the decision to stop federal approval of abortion medication mifepristone.

In a statement, James says the decision disregards decades of medical research, and as a result will risk the health of millions of Americans across the country.
She says this decision is a dangerous attack on freedom.

James goes on to say in New York, abortion remains legal and that the state will stay a safe haven for anyone seeking abortion care.
She adds that New York will do anything within its power to keep fighting to protect reproductive rights.
