As wildfires continue to burn through Canada, Gov. Kathy Hochul is telling people across New York it will once again affect air quality in the state.
The governor said levels are expected to be far below what they were last week, but she is asking New Yorkers to remain vigilant – especially if you’re sensitive to air pollution.
Much of the smoke is also expected to remain high in the atmosphere, instead of at ground level like last week.
