No injuries in three separate I-90 crashes

No one was hurt in three separate crashes that slowed I-90 traffic on Friday morning, police said.

It began around 6:30 a.m. in the eastbound lane near the Exit 24 off ramp in Albany.

The first crash involved a commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle, police said. The second crash involved two dump trucks and two passenger vehicles, and the third one was between a box truck and a passenger vehicle.

Police believe the second and the third crashes were the result of drivers reacting to the initial crash, they said.

The left lane of the road was closed for a time. It reopened at around 7:40 a.m.
