An Albany business is getting a fresh start thanks to Business for Good.
Nani’s Iced Tea now has new bottling and packaging equipment.
It will help entrepreneur Maria Gallo continue her dream of supplying all-natural iced tea beverages to retailers.
A capital investment from Business for Good will allow Nani’s Iced Tea to be available in stores in 2023 and beyond.
Gallo spent her childhood picking fresh mint from her grandmother’s garden and understood how popular the recipe was at a young age.
She was determined to bring it to everyone. She found a bottler, and secured labels, but the pandemic hit, and her bottler went out of business. She nearly lost everything. That’s where Business for Good came in.
“When the pandemic put my dreams on hold, I held out for a miracle,” Gallo said. “That miracle was meeting Lisa and Ed Mitzen. The Mitzens, and everyone I have worked with at BFG, have become family to me.”
In addition to providing top line bottling and packaging equipment, BFG will also provide Gallo with networking opportunities, a complete rebrand for her logos, packaging and marketing help.
Nani’s Iced Tea will be available in 2023 in three distinct flavors: unsweetened, sweet mint and lemon.
