NWS: Tornado touched down in Broadalbin
The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down Wednesday in Fulton County. The EF0 touched down in Broadalbin at 4:41 p.m. in the backyard of Cerrero's Cuts on Route 29.

The EF0 touched down in Broadalbin at 4:41 p.m. in the backyard of Cerrero’s Cuts on Route 29. It traveled across the road and impacted a residence on the north side of the highway. It knocked down a few tree limbs and uprooted two limbs, according to NWS.
The tornado stayed on the ground for one minute. It traveled 0.17 miles. The tornado was 30 yards wide and had an estimated peak wind speed of 80 mph.
The weak tornado continued to the north before breaking up beyond the private residence.
