Officer-in-charge at Hoosick Falls PD placed on leave
The head of the Hoosick Falls Police Department has been placed on leave.
Hoosick Falls Mayor Dan Schuttig posted on Facebook Saturday afternoon to let village residents know that the officer in charge of the department has been placed on administrative leave, and that there will be no comment beyond that.
The mayor goes on to say that this will be handled in a professional manner by the village in conjunction with its attorneys.
The officer-in-charge is John Hudson, who took over when Chief Tim Colaneri retired about a year and a half ago.
