One dead from car crash in New Scotland on Saturday
Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple says one person is dead after a motor vehicle crash in New Scotland on Saturday.
Deputies responded to New Scotland South Road in the area of Game Farm Road in New Scotland around 2:15 p.m. for reports of a two-vehicle crash and injuries to the occupants.
Apple says one vehicle with one person was traveling northbound on New Scotland South Road, when a second vehicle with two people entered the roadway from Game Farm Road, leading to the crash.
A 91-year-old female from Bethlehem succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene, said the Sheriff’s Office.
The other two people involved in the crash were taken to local hospitals for treatment, said Apple.
The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation remains active and ongoing.
