For some people, news of the Schenectady school superintendent leaving for another job came as a big surprise. Anibal Soler, Jr. Is in his third year with the district and in the middle of some big changes, like a $300 million revitalization project and the discussion of a weapons detection system.

Chris Onorato met Soler at the work-in-progress new district office building to talk about it all.
