NewsChannel 13 got an exclusive look on Thursday at the extensive damage to a South Glens Falls home, after a pickup truck slammed into it on Wednesday.

It was part of a police chase, which ended in an officer-involved shooting.

Fortunately, none of the four residents were home at the time. If they had been, they may have also witnessed when the state trooper shot the driver of the truck, who police say refused to drop his loaded shotgun when ordered to do so.

Thankfully, insurance will pay for most of the damage repairs, the homeowner said. However, there is a deductible, which will have to be recovered by the man who was allegedly driving the pickup truck, Billy Cassell III, of Kingsbury. He is now recovering.
