It didn’t take long for the state to find a replacement act for the big Fourth of July celebration at the Empire State Plaza.
Orleans, the band known for hits including “Dance With Me” and “Still The One,” will play Thursday night in place of Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers. Hornsby pulled out Monday night because of a vocal issue.
Orleans takes the stage at 8 p.m.
The Averill Park school’s jazz band gets the music started at 5:30 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:15.
