Oswego man accused of driving drunk with revoked license

An Oswego man is accused of driving drunk with a revoked license.

Jose L. Coronado, 45, was stopped on Route 9 in the town of Halfmoon just before 1:30 a.m. Friday because his vehicle was swerving out of his lane, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

Coronado is accused of driving while intoxicated. The charge was upgraded to a felony because he has a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years. He also did not have a court-required ignition interlock device in his vehicle and was drinking alcohol in the vehicle, police said.

Coronado also allegedly failed to provide information about himself or be fingerprinted.

Coronado was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail.
