Overnight lane closures coming to Queensbury’s Quaker Road

Anyone who plans to drive on Quaker Road in Queensbury should expect to see overnight lane closures beginning next week.

From Tuesday Sep. 5 until Wednesday Sep. 20, Quaker Road between the intersections with Route 9 and

Lower Warren Street will be closed for milling and repaving from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detours will be in place.

The work is expected to be done by Oct. 1, and the closures will not occur during the Adirondack Balloon Festival.
