Congressman Tonko holds roundtable discussion
Congressman Paul Tonko held a roundtable discussion Monday night at Schenectady High School where it was standing room only.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WNYT)- Hundreds of people turned out to a roundtable discussion hosted by Congressman Paul Tonko Monday night at Schenectady High School.
It was standing room only with every seat filled as people listened to the congressman talk about American democracy in the age of President Donald Trump.
“I have never entered the political arena in my life because I’ve always been safe in it. And that was a mistake. And that is a mistake for everybody who didn’t vote in the last election,” said Mitzi Matlick of Schenectady.
