Pair of North Country police chases leads to two arrests

A pair of police chases near the Canadian border ended with two arrests, including one in Lake George.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection and State Police were chasing a car in Plattsburgh on Wednesday night, when it crashed in a field. Two people ran off.
One person, Peter Ibrahim Habib Soliman, 25, of Staten Island was caught after a foot chase.
The second suspect, Onyx Calderon, 24, of Paterson, New Jersey, was found after a separate police chase Thursday, involving a car police say was stolen in Plattsburgh.
Police deployed spike strips in Warren County to stop him. He ran off, but was quickly found.
Both now face a slew of charges.
