Pancakes, sausage fundraiser helps victims of devastating Cohoes fire

A pancakes-and-sausage dinner was held at the Cohoes-Waterford Elks Lodge on Thursday, all to help people affected by a fire.

A pancakes-and-sausage dinner was held at the Cohoes-Waterford Elks Lodge on Thursday, all to help people affected by a fire.

The fire at 54 Broad St. in Cohoes happened back on Dec. 4. It consumed and destroyed the entire three-story building.
Six people were hurt. Sadly, one person was killed.

A sports memorabilia shop on the bottom floor that had been around for three decades lost virtually all of its priceless and nostalgic merchandise.

Learn about how organizers said it’s just another way they help the community by watching the video of Dan Levy’s story.

You can also donate to one of the families of the victims on their GoFundMe.
